Mr. Goutam Prosad Das has recently been appointed Director of MTB Securities Ltd. Mr. Das started his banking career as Probationary Officer at AB Bank Ltd. in 1991 and worked there in various capacities for more than 10 years. He joined Trust Bank Ltd. in 2002 and headed its Internal Control and Compliance (ICC) Division until 2012, when he joined Mutual Trust Bank Ltd. (MTB) as Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) & Group Head of ICC Department. As of date, he is discharging his duties as Deputy Managing Director, overlooking various departments of the bank including ICC, SME-CRM, Retail Finance & Centralized Reporting.
Mr. Das is a member of various committees of MTB, which includes MTB Management Committee, Credit Evaluation Committee of Corporate Banking, Recruitment Committee, Integrity Committee, Service Quality Committee, Senior Management Team (SMT), ATM Installation Committee, ALCO and others. He has been nominated as a member by Bangladesh Bank for updating regulatory guidelines concerning ICC Risk Management.

| He is a certified trainer of South Asia Enterprise Development Facility (SEDF) on Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML & CFT), and he has also certification from AUSTRAC (Australian Transaction Reports & Analysis Centre) on AML & CFT. |
| Mr. Das is a certified trainer on corporate governance, which is bestowed on him by International Finance Corporation (IFC). In his banking career, Mr. Das has attended training programs on banking, finance, credit & FOREX operations, frauds & forgeries, audit, compliance, forensic investigation, artificial intelligence, etc. both at home and abroad. |
